About
Work
I have my own IT consulting company, where I am able to help people in my local community with various miscellaneous projects.
Some of these projects include:
- Fixing EV charger units in an apartment complex
- Assisting in garage access control configuration
- Configuring remote access for a small company
- Advising storage solutions and more!
My skillset is very diverse, and I learn fast.
BCIT
I’m currently studying full-time at BCIT, a school that has a focus on hands-on learning, and practicality.
In my first two years I studied concepts such as networking with Cisco devices, Linux administration using RHEL, hybrid cloud/on-premise Windows server administration, and security devices like Fortigate and Palto Alto firewalls.
In my second two years, I am studying digital forensics & data recovery in the environment of criminal investigation, taking into account cloud environments, as well as on-premise server and computer hardware.
Projects
I take on many different passion projects on my own, such as a home server that I run various useful services on, mini projects including components such as Raspberry Pis, and anything else that might interest me! I really love free (as in freedom) projects, and the majority of my projects are completely free and open-source.
You can learn a lot more about these projects on my blog, and by checking the projects section of my profile!
